Triple Chocolate Comfort Cookies

Who doesn't love a staple chocolate cookie recipe? I've been playing around with this one and I'm so excited to share it with y'all today! It's quick, simple and the dough needs no time in the fridge. This is my go-to when I'm needing some chocolate comfort! Enjoy!

1 C. Softened Butter

1 C. Dark Brown Sugar
(Light works fine, but Dark will give a more rich flavor)

1 C. Granulated Sugar

1 Tsp. Vanilla

2 Eggs

2 3/4 C. Flour

3-4 Tbsp Cocoa Powder

1 Tsp. Baking Soda

1 Tsp. Baking Powder

1 Tsp. Salt

1 C. Milk Chocolate Chips

1 C. White Chocolate Chips

Preheat your oven to 350 and prepare your baking sheets with parchment paper.

Blend butter and sugars in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment. When well blended, add the eggs and vanilla. Mix for 1-2 minutes.

Add in 2 cups flour into the mixing bowl. Add the cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt on top of the flour. Add the remaining flour on top of that. Mix just before it is all incorporated and do not over-mix!

Add in your chocolate chips and mix on highest setting for 5-8 seconds, to give the chocolate chips a change to get all throughout the dough without over-mixing.

Using cookie scoop or making 1.5 inch balls, bake cookies for 8.5 minutes. Add a minute or two if you like them crispy! Leave on baking sheet for one minute before transferring to a cooling rack.
